Does this tutorial still work?

I've tried doing this several times, laying out the files exactly as described. Everything seems to compile fine. When I drag the widget to the desktop nothing happens. When I run plasmawindowed org.kde.tutorial I get a small white window. The only output it has is: org.kde.plasma: requesting config for "Unknown" without a containment!

It also does not work for me.

Where does the plasmoid_plasma5 in the install command come from?

kpackagetool5 -t Plasma/Applet --install plasmoid_plasma5
