I'm doing much sysadmin work using Puppet (http://puppet.reductivelabs.com) on Ubuntu servers. A few oldish ProLiants running Xen (http://www.xensource.com) instances...

Other activities include developing some web-application using Ruby On Rails (http://www.rubyonrails.org) for a small cytological Laboratory (http://www.zyto-labor.com).
