Hi, Julien. Please do not use Translation_Workflow/fr to translate the English page. Anyone capable of writing a good translation will be able to read the English page. Instead, Translation_Workflow/fr should contain hints, tips, specific grammar or terminology that is required when translating to French. You might like to look at some of the language-specific pages in Userbase - http://userbase.kde.org/Translation_Workflow#Language-specific_guideline_pages
Anne
Hi Anne,
Thanks for your notes. But I have some questions: 1- Why balises of translation are integrated in the Translation_Workflow page (as )? 2- And now, How can I delete my translation of the title?
Thanks again!
Julien.
Julien, I owe you an apology. It seems that somewhere along the line we did decide to translate the page (I have a dim memory of the conversation). The language specific guidelines are in subpages with the full name of the language, such as Translation_Workflow/Catalan. My fault, entirely. Please carry on the good work :-)
Welcome to the Translator group. You will notice on Translation_Workflow#Language-specific_guideline_pages that a Team Leader exists for your language. While there is no requirement for you to contact your Team Leader, it would be appreciated if you do so.
The option to export messages for off-line working is found in the first combibox of the page you reach via the Translate this Page link. When you work off-line we ask you to send your first set of messages to me for uploading. Once it is confirmed that they upload without a problem you will be told how to upload them yourself.
Please ask if you are unsure about anything. Enjoy!
