A: The old location for the tarball is no longer current. I'm working on getting a snapshot hosted on a server.

build failure in absence of png.h

Q: The build on my machine failed with following error:

kernel/qpngio.cpp:45:17: png.h: No such file or directory

Is the existence of png.h not being checked earlier?

A: Please be sure you have the development headers for libpng installed.

Update schedule

Q: When does konstruct typically get updated relative to new builds being released? It is still setup for 3.5.7, and 3.5.8 has been out for a couple of weeks now. When can we expect an updated konstruct build?

A: The latest version of Konstruct currently installs 3.5.8, and will be updated this weekend to build 3.5.9.
