On OSX 10.5,

perl -e 'print crypt("pass","\$1\$xyz\$")."\n";' -- $1dwWckNooiek

perl -e 'print crypt("pass","\$1\$abc\$")."\n";' -- $1dwWckNooiek

On custom usernames and the @kde mail addresses

Currently, the article says it's possible to choose a username different from those suggested in the form, and talks about issues that have happened with @kde.org emails.

However, these days it's not possible to choose a different username (it is required to derive from the user's name), and consequently the information about @kde.org seems irrelevant.

Should it be changed?
