GeoClue support in Marble is planned, will probably replace the use of libgps.

Status of integration

  • Some serious bugs in GeoClue - we need to get those fixed first
  • GeoClue currently has gconf dependency, we need to remove this
  • We need to get a new release of GeoClue with the above problems fixed
  • Position drawing in Marble is buggy
