KDE支持多种的编程语言用于KDE 4的开发。

稳定的和成熟的

KBasic - BASIC language similar to VB

语言绑定技术与内嵌语言

Smoke - 为用于创建诸如Ruby、C#和PHP之类的多语言绑定提供基础。

Kross - 为C++应用程序提供内嵌脚本。多语言，诸如Python、Ruby、JavaScript、QtScript、Falcon和Java已经被支持。

QtScript - QtScript绑定构建器。

SIP - 用于产生Python绑定。

Qt3/KDE3的支持

编译当前 git master

推荐在 ~/.gitconfig 中加入:

以从 anongit 服务器拉取并提交到主 git 服务器。

克隆源的命令

git clone kde:smokegen
git clone kde:smokeqt
git clone kde:smokekde
git clone kde:qtruby
git clone kde:korundum
git clone kde:qyoto
git clone kde:kimono
git clone kde:perlqt
git clone kde:perlkde
git clone kde:kross-interpreters

编译和正常一样

cmake <src-dir> -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr
make
make install

先要编译 Smokegen，然后是 smokeqt 和 smokekde。然后编译各个语言的绑定。注意 KDE 绑定部分总是依赖于 QT 绑定,所以需要先编译 QT 相关代码。

kross-interpreters 包含 kross 使用的语言绑定。它们不依赖于任何上面内容。
