* work on KNotes [http://blog.guillermoamaral.com/2007/09/04/knotes-sur-un-triangle/]

work-in-progress:

* About Kommander
[http://code.google.com/soc/2007/kde/appinfo.html?csaid=93F720A476DF8E71 Matthias Wieser integrated] the cool [http://dot.kde.org/1087424515/ Kommander tool], which enables even very unskilled developers to quickly build GUI applications.

(they didn't make it, too much work. might become something later on?)

* About MARBLE (SoC work)
much work, not the least on [http://edu.kde.org/marble/ Marble]. It alone had three Summer of Code projects, with [http://realate.blogspot.com/ Andrew Manson] working on [http://code.google.com/soc/2007/kde/appinfo.html?csaid=58AE7448FBEEEAE0 GPS support], [http://carloslicea.blogspot.com/ Carlos Licea] on [http://code.google.com/soc/2007/kde/appinfo.html?csaid=DCE4DBD4A0509DC7 2D projection] and [http://cia.vc/stats/author/muradt/ Murad Tagirov] busy with [http://code.google.com/soc/2007/kde/appinfo.html?csaid=D67FADC741D4F4C4 KML support].
(beta 3 stuff)

* KVocTrain (from KDE-Edu) is renamed to Parley ( Parley is a discussion or conference, especially one between enemies over terms of truce or other matters).
* Parley has a new start test dialog, enabling arbitrary language combinations (wish for three years) [http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/2984] and [http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93446] and Parley no longer needs languages set up prior to using them. Start learning vocabulary without setup hastle. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125488
* Parley has made a major step towards usability. The new way to handel the program and to display lectures is easy to understand. To setup different keyboard layouts for different languages is deffinatly a great idea and makes the program even better.

* the KDE-Edu team had a polish day: [http://dot.kde.org/1189999104/1190011146/] [http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-edu&m=118992829226709&w=2]
BlinKen, KGeography, KHangMan were debugged and polished as well as Marble. Sound has been fixed in Edu apps.

* marble is a kpart now [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-09/moreinfo/708818/]

* kalzium kpart [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-02/moreinfo/705730/]

* remote colourschemes in kolourpaint [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-16/moreinfo/710934/]

* kget was integrated with Plasma:
[http://liquidat.wordpress.com/2007/09/04/kde-4-screencast-plasma-and-kget-interaction/]

* ksane in digikam [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-16/moreinfo/711921/] [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-16/moreinfo/712420/] (not a default-in-kde-thing, maybe libksane is?)

* kget and other plasmoids [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-09/]

* improvements in gwenview [http://commit-digest.org/issues/2007-09-02/]

* SVG Widget work [http://pdamsten.blogspot.com/2007/09/svgwidget-testing.html] [http://pdamsten.blogspot.com/2007/09/learning-plasma-part-ii-widgets.html]

So, in layman words, you're working on some graphical meters for plasma, which can easily be used by developers for their plasmoids... Neath.

* Kate welcomes Find Selected and search highlighting  [http://tsdgeos.blogspot.com/2007/09/kate-welcomes-find-selected.html] [http://blog.hartwork.org/?p=83]

* Further KWin work [http://rivolaks.blogspot.com/2007/09/kwin-improvements.html]

Todo:

- get plasma screencast?!?
