their research and implementation work.

Several younger and older students worked together on several extensions to
KDE applications such as Umbrello and KPlato in a team project in 2007.
Improvements to these modelling tools will be something the students can
directly benefit from in their future use.

Google sponsors several students to work on specific needs defined by the KDE
project, be them application enhancements, advanced widgets or integration
efforts. The so-called SoC is a yearly event going strong since 2005. Many
