"Doing Things in Place" is a working title - any better ideas?

One of the reasons why KDE configuration dialogs are so overloaded is because options are added there instead of providing them in the context of the object they refer to.

Examples:

  • colour management of calendars and calendar categories in korganizer in resources panel rather than in the config dialog
  • toolbar config via dnd instead of item selection lists
  • Panel configuration on the panel (change size) instead of pressing buttons
